Image Unfortunately, the website I initially got that song from disappeared a long time ago. I've had that song for nearly a decade now.

Image For the record, here's the song on its own though the version I have doesn't have the talking at the end.

((OOC: It was a fairly clever way of upping the donations. I mean, who hasn't dreamed of wanting to dunk their upper management in some ice cold water? Haha!

But seriously, it's great to see this. Not only is it fun to watch, it goes to a great cause of researching ALS, which my uncle unfortunately has. The more awareness the better. Considering that the website actually sometimes crashes due to the amount of support/donations because of this challenge, I think it's working well. Hope we can reach a day where this isn't a problem for us ever again.))

Yeah, that was all really good and generally what I'd expect from the show up until the end where they went above and beyond with that pageant skit.

Batman has its silly moments. Next to Kite Man, Zebra Man and Calendar Man (though this wasn't too bad a concept at times)

In brighter news, have some test footage of Grenndy Tartakovsky's Popeye animation test.

PeanutButterGamer once theorized that Luigi's cowardly role in Luigi's Mansion was inspired by The Super Mario Bros. Super Show. But in truth, that wasn't the first thing that depicted Luigi as cowardly.

This is.

Image Rise of Lyric is a buggy mess. Before a patch, there was a glitch where you could make Knuckles jump across a pit to the final area in the game. Talk about an oversight!

...Or is it?

According to Alan Denton's Twitter the creators of the cartoon have decided that, no, Knux is actually that amazing and the jump glitch is CANON!

As seen here, with fan adding in pause menu himself. Alan even retweeted it!

(Okay, so the episode was made long before the glitch became apparent, but it's still nice to see them have a bit of fun here.)

A year ago (or two), my sister and I got a Sega Genesis with a whole lot of pre-included games in it for Christmas. We took it for a spin, and one game that really left an impression on me was Chakan: The Forever Man. I couldn't beat a single level, but the concept was novel and it just had this dark, gritty charm to it that I actually liked. That's pretty rare.

Oh, and I recently found this series of Dark Souls videos this one guy made who designed his character to look like Chakan, carry only weapons resembling those from the game, and he even added the game's music and sound effects. Pretty darn impressive.

Gotta love sequence breaks in Metroid. It's part of why the first Prime is my favorite.

Glitching out of the world never worked for me, though. I always kept falling into the void with no escape.

I haven't really tried sequence breaking in Metroid, outside of getting some items earlier than some guides/LPs do. It's also part of why I'm buying MP1, MP2 and MP3 on their original formats, besides the fact that they're really cheap in a lot of stores near me. Well, with Prime at least, cause Prime is still great

Make sure to get the original, non-Player's Choice version of Prime. The Player's Choice version changes a few things to make sequence breaking harder.

Haven't tried sequence breaking in MP2, but I'm sure it's possible without glitching out of the world in a few spots. I don't think it's even possible in MP3. If it is, it's extremely minimal compared to the others.

It's also part of why I'm buying MP1, MP2 and MP3 on their original formats, besides the fact that they're really cheap in a lot of stores near me. Well, with Prime at least, cause Prime is still great

I have Prime already but I heard about Player's Choice, it's odd. Probably the same for MP2. MP3, I heard about but I think it was more game breaking (e.g. crashes/resets)

I thought it was the Soldier from Team Fortress 2 changed to look like Solaire based on the thumbnail/preview image, and, I expected a very different kind of video.

But yeah, that's pretty radical.

Image Finally went ahead and sat through my first UPF. May as well since I'm paying for premium membership.

And I'm so glad I did!

Image Unprofessional Fridays. A weekly thing for premium members of Giant Bomb. Just a couple of hours playing random games, nobody really knows what to expect until you get in. As the name implies, it's pretty unprofessional, but deliberately so. They don't really follow a structure, it's basically just like any of us sitting at home with some friends playing video games.

Often times, we get the weird stuff, like Love Beat there, though Super Mario Maker had a very great episode as well.

Playing this on PS4 and this is still so true. Would have been great if Capcom patched out the QTEs....
