Image Rise of Lyric is a buggy mess. Before a patch, there was a glitch where you could make Knuckles jump across a pit to the final area in the game. Talk about an oversight!

...Or is it?

According to Alan Denton's Twitter the creators of the cartoon have decided that, no, Knux is actually that amazing and the jump glitch is CANON!

As seen here, with fan adding in pause menu himself. Alan even retweeted it!

(Okay, so the episode was made long before the glitch became apparent, but it's still nice to see them have a bit of fun here.)

A year ago (or two), my sister and I got a Sega Genesis with a whole lot of pre-included games in it for Christmas. We took it for a spin, and one game that really left an impression on me was Chakan: The Forever Man. I couldn't beat a single level, but the concept was novel and it just had this dark, gritty charm to it that I actually liked. That's pretty rare.

Oh, and I recently found this series of Dark Souls videos this one guy made who designed his character to look like Chakan, carry only weapons resembling those from the game, and he even added the game's music and sound effects. Pretty darn impressive.

This makes me feel so much better about some of Echoes's bosses...and question the others at the same time.

Spider Guardian though, LOL

Gotta love sequence breaks in Metroid. It's part of why the first Prime is my favorite.

Glitching out of the world never worked for me, though. I always kept falling into the void with no escape.

I haven't really tried sequence breaking in Metroid, outside of getting some items earlier than some guides/LPs do. It's also part of why I'm buying MP1, MP2 and MP3 on their original formats, besides the fact that they're really cheap in a lot of stores near me. Well, with Prime at least, cause Prime is still great

Make sure to get the original, non-Player's Choice version of Prime. The Player's Choice version changes a few things to make sequence breaking harder.

Haven't tried sequence breaking in MP2, but I'm sure it's possible without glitching out of the world in a few spots. I don't think it's even possible in MP3. If it is, it's extremely minimal compared to the others.

I have Prime already but I heard about Player's Choice, it's odd. Probably the same for MP2. MP3, I heard about but I think it was more game breaking (e.g. crashes/resets)

I thought it was the Soldier from Team Fortress 2 changed to look like Solaire based on the thumbnail/preview image, and, I expected a very different kind of video.

But yeah, that's pretty radical.
