Need some feedback on these new character references.

I think I messed up on Tymp. Something about it is bugging me but I don't know what. Any ideas?

Also, Hype's gotten an upgrade of sorts. Ditching the hat because it's just one less thing to worry about drawing right. (and drawing it in the comic may make word bubble placement more difficult.) The third character...

...Well let's talk about that. Having tried time and time again, I can't seem to draw Dylan consistently, mostly his head is the problem, and it got too annoying. So I'm ditching Dylan in favor of this much easier to draw character. He needs a name though. Yeah I could just go with Dylan but I kinda want a name that doesn't have a Y as the second letter. (kinda wishing that had never happened for the sake of diversity.) So any suggestions?

Alp. geekay;

His name will be Alp!

The only thing I see wrong with Tymp is his...lack of lack of pants. :edgey: I'm too used to his nothin'-at-all-'cept-a-badass-scarf design. D:

Maybe I should ditch them then.

Added them thinking he could use the pockets, and to add to the utterly ambiguous nature of clothing in the world I'm creating. (Hype lacks shorts now too.) I'm trying to make it clear that the dress code is all over the place, essentially creating half-dressed cartoon-animalish-ville (with some not-so-animal like characters like Tymp). In the case of the world I'm creating, it's either for looks or for practical use, rather than covering anything. I can get away with it because of cartoon animal anatomy.

I like the thing around Tymps neck, but I think it could do with out the back part. Would be kinda like a bandanna that way. I don't like Hypes feet for some reason. I'm not sure what to say about the third guy.

Yeah, I think I got lazy on her feet.

The back part of it is a sort of artifact from Tymp's previous iteration as a Mario bandit. So it looks like it was torn up, leaving only the bandana and the hood. I could ditch it if I had to though.

And yet, I kind like it being more than just a hoodie. I'll still consider it.

I was thinking Herman, for the new character. What kind of animal is he?

His design is based mostly on otters, but I keep the species names ambiguous because my characters are only vuagely based on animals, not the animal themselves.

Otto would do well for a name too.

It kind of reminds me of a prairie dog, but a little larger.

Yeah, I'm just sorta making my own stuff up, so it could look like any number of animals.

As for the names, Alp sound kinda cool, but at the same tim, I'm not sure it fits, since I always think of the Swiss Alps.

Herman sound like an old guy.

Otto might work. I have always liked that name.

Any other suggestions?
