Playing Bioshock 2
Played an hour or so of Single Player, Rapture still doesn't fail to be beautiful, and being a Big Daddy is just...magic.

Multiplayer I've been playing a lot of, it's very fun and interactive, since each character is different and has their own looks/voice sets for when they kill or do something (Kind of like TF 2), and in your Apartment (Hub) you get messages and voice logs to further the story it has!
The gameplay is solid too, teamwork is fun especially when someone becomes a Big Daddy, and mixing and matching your plasmids and weapons is fun, even if it's not that much so far. Pretty much everyone is running around with a Machine Gun and a Shotgun at the moment. But a rare few have the big guns.
Still fun awesome;

Started playing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice For All. The fact that you can now present profiles of the people involved in the case as evidence is interesting.

So yes. Once again I fail to make a purchase noticeable.

So yes, I am currently juggling Spirit Tracks, and Ace Attorney Investigations. Just arrived in the Ocean Realm Temple, and solved case two.

Spirit Tracks I can already say is a much desired improvement over Phantom Hourglass. Not that PH was bad, but myes. Like Wally and Falc said, AAI is, so far, at least, everything I could need from an Ace Attorney game. I also feel oddly inclined to purposely mess up, if just because seeing Edgeworth get flustered is glorious.

White Knight Chronicles Rental.

I am very pleased with the game's quality and online.

And Bought Super Street Fighter II Turbo: HD Remix. A faithful update to the original, with nice art by UDON Entertainment.

Mega Man 10. The Easy mode seems to be a little too easy if you ask me. In the space of a little over an hour, I had beaten all 8 robot masters with only one game over because I accidentally leapt into a pit twice in Blade Man's stage and then died again fighting Blade Man. I gave it a rest at that point and haven't moved on to the final stage yet.

Stop playing games!

Huuuu... *wipes at face* You... You don't remember? I'm the chatkill, goddamn mission control! You... You jeeeeeeeeerk!

So you'd better cut this crap! This isn't the manly man's relationship of cat and mouse that we always enjoyed! You're better than this! Why, by now, one or both of us should be growling mad and questioning what our true feelings are! Those of colonel and spy? Cat and mouse? Father and son?! Husband and wife?! Seme and uke?! Tom and Jerry?!

Don't tell me...that the dreaded Steel Phoenix, known for being the only person crazy enough to fly with a broken pair of airplane wings...is going to meet...uuuuuuuuuughuuuuuu...a fate...like...this!

I was half-expecting a similar difficulty curve to Mega Man 9, so I did easy first to ease myself into it. I mean, I looked at the time I was playing for in the Wii message board and it said "1:17". My first thought was "That couldn't possibly be right". Even on easy, it should've taken longer than that for me to beat all eight of the robot masters prior to the final stage. It's possible that I just happened to beat them in the right order for the most part and I'm an idiot. At any rate, it's a pretty decent game.

Image Popped in the Orange Box again, this time to try Half-Life 2.

I'm not overly fond of FPS titles...but this one's different. It feels a little more engaging and not as mindless.

Also, Gravity Gun. Gotta love the Gravity Gun.

Half Life 2, the FIRST Halo, Portal, and TF2 make up the only four FPS's to hold my attention for any significant span of time.

Half Life 2 is the only one that engaged me with everything it had, from it's gameplay to it's plot. Halo and TF2 are only there for the multiplayer and Portal is there because it's just fun. HL2 had me, depth and all.

Got Sonic Gems Collection CD.

I am disappointed. For what many consider the second best Sonic title (next to Adventure) It sure is the most disjointed 2D sonic I've ever played.

The art of this game is immaculately made, and you could tell that they put a lot of effort into it, but holy dang! I can hardly tell what will kill me and what will not half the time. I can't tell what I can and can't stand on, I can hardly tell where I'm going and what's a bush and what's a spike.

The game also has a very different take on level design from any Sonic game EVER. Branching paths? Heh, nope. This is like a 2D sandbox. There are literally no paths in this game and they interweave left, right, backwards, forewards, upside down, rightside up, wrongside left and rightwrong side. It's the single most confusing conglomeration of 2D level design I had ever seen. There's really only one thing you can be sure of, the goal is to the right. That is the only direction the game gives you. Some of the things they do are awesome. for instance, you're running forward, and hit a spring. You fly up into the air, and provided you don't mess with the controller, you land on another spring that shoots you higher. Then you go into a corkscrew, just missing a few enemies, and then you're on that ledge you were trying to get to. This might be where a lot of the newer games took the idea of "watch Sonic play the game for you" but it's a whole lot more fun to watch in CD than the new games.

You'd thing the combination of confusing visuals and insanely undirected level design would make this game hard. Well remember that rule, where the goal is always on the right. That's all you need to know. Just keep going right and work around obsticals, and you will beat the level with absolutely no problem. In fact, the game is so easy it's boring. There are barely any enemies on screen and none of them pose a threat. They don't even have many bottomless pits. In this game, Spikes are your biggest enemy, and there aren't too many of those either.

The big hook of this game was time travel, but I sure as heck have no clue how it works. I think you pass a sign that either reads Past or Present, then if you gain enough speed, (probably 80MPH) then you go backwards in time or forwards in time. But for the life of me, I don't think this machanic does anything more than change the visuals and maybe a few platforms here and there. Considering how fast Sonic can run, it's easy to pass a sign without knowing, and sending yourself through time on accident.

Oh, and the music is terrible, minus a few cool ones that are only cool if you hear cool remixes of them. But I can blame Sega of America for that, since the Japanese version is said to have the far superior music. (unless this is the japanese verison, in which case it's weak sauce to begin with.)

I haven't beaten the game for one reason though...

MECHA SONIC! MSTARE;

The race with Mecha Sonic essentially takes the difficulty curve and says "Hey, remember how crazy easy everything before this was? Yeah well forget that! RACE MECHA SONIC! What's that? You're too slow? Robotnik fries you with a laser! Got rings? IT KILLS YOU ANYWAY! Now run forward, and try not to miss those spikes. Uh oh, you hit a wall. That's ok, you'll only DIE NOW ANYWAY! You're near Mecha sonic! Let's throw spikes at you and make him electrified so you can't touch or pass him! Whoa now! You're waaaaay ahead of Mecha! We can't have that now! Mecha! GO FLY AT SUPERSONIC SPEEDS AND HIT SONIC NO MATTER HOW FAR AHEAD HE WAS! What's that? You don't have enough speed to go up that incline? YOU'RE DEAD!" They throw EVERYTHING at you at this ONE PART OF THE GAME, and has to be one of the most devious moves in video game design ever.

Despite all this, the game is playable, but it's not nearly the gem the fans, or the collection title claims it to be. If I could tell what I was looking at, where I was going, and was actually given a challenge, maybe then I'd be interested in seeing what's beyond the race level. But as it stands for me, this is the Sonic Heroes of 2D Sonic games.

Mega Man 10.

Yesssss.
Maybe it's because I just finished Mega Man 9 yesterday and got the hang of that, but the bosses seem a whee bit easy so far (and I'm playing on Normal). I've beaten them all with only the Mega Buster so far (granted, only three bosses so far, but still; the reason I've done so is 'cause I'm doing this without looking up the weaknesses). Although I'm REALLY starting to hate Chill Man's stage. IIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCE FFFFFFF
