I figured this game's big and good enough that we could profit from a thread centralizing it all.

Post the levels you made, levels you like, good makers to follow, levels recorded on Youtube, ideas for making levels, and anything else related to the game.

Image I was thinking a thread like this might be a good idea. Looks like you've gone ahead and made it. With that said, take a gander and what I have to offer.

Image
First Step
(73ED-0000-0012-DA67)
Game: Super Mario Bros.
Theme: Ground
My first fully custom built stage. I wanted to make something that feels 1-1 without actually being 1-1. Simple enough to understand without any real challenge.

Image
Castle of Flame
(91B5-0000-0021-A886)
Game: New Super Mario Bros. U
Theme: Castle
The idea for this came when I found out what happens when you attach wings to Lava Bubbles. There is lots of fire here so be careful.

Image
Sea of Jellies
(1CBE-0000-0022-33C1)
Game: Super Mario Bros. 3
Theme: Underwater
Inspired by a stage from World 7 of SMB3, this one takes you with having to navigate through a sea full of Jelectro as well as Bloopers and Cheep Cheeps in a slow auto-scroll setting.

Image
Tomb of Midas
(A82D-0000-002D-A3F5)
Game: Super Mario Bros.
Theme: Ghost House
Fun fact: This was the very first stage idea I ever came up with. It didn't go quite as well as I had initially intended (I wanted to be much longer) but the gist of it is the same. Anyway, you are exploring the tomb of King Midas. Now, how did that fable about him go again...?

Image
Parabuzzy Migration
(6924-0000-0036-2DF1)
Game: Super Mario Bros. 3
Theme: Ground
Much like Jellies, this one was heavily influenced by an already existing stage from SMB3. In this case, it's another auto-scroller with really tricky jumps off of constantly moving Parabuzzies. And because I am such a sadistic bugger, I also included some flying Spinies to annoy you as well. Probably one of the hardest courses I've made that still feels fair. At least, I feel it's fair. What do you think?
I actually uploaded a version of this a bit before, but deleted it when I felt it was a bit too hard at the end. I also learned that editing this stage was a bit of a pain due to how enemy sprites load, so to test it properly, I had to start the level from the beginning every single time.

Image
Fast Ships
(87E6-0000-003C-03EF)
Game: Super Mario Bros. 3
Theme: Airship
Another level based around an existing one from SMB3. It's another auto scroller, but this one is set to Cheetah speed. Because of that, this one won't last as long, but it could incite panic.

Image
Super Mario Land 1-3
(BA7F-0000-003E-BB8C)
Game: Super Mario Bros. 3
Theme: Castle
My attempt at recreating a Super Mario Land level. I wanted to do something like this to teach me about better level design. It also taught me that Super Mario Land's levels are kinda bare bones, really.

Image
Ice Cave
(9CBA-0000-004A-88EB)
Game: Super Mario Bros. 3
Theme: Underground
Just a modest attempt at making an ice level. Because everyone loves those, right?

Image
Don't Blink
(1396-0000-0052-AD28)
Game: Super Mario World
Theme: Ghost House
Don't blink! Don't even blink! Blink and you're dead! They are fast, faster than you can believe!
Don't turn your back! Don't look away! And don't blink!
Good luck.

Image
Goomba Mines
(8496-0000-01AF-03D2)
Game: Super Mario Bros.
Theme: Underground
Infiltrate Bowser's secret Goomba Mining Operation! But what you may discover might make you think twice about your most common enemy...

Image Who likes platforming auto-scrolling levels with very tricky jumps?

Check out Parabuzzy Migration for some hair-pulling action!

There's a lot of hate flowing in me right now.

I don't think I've mentioned my courses yet, so I'll just post with my most recent one today.

Image I find myself gravitating to making auto scrollers. Not sure why... Anyway, here's a quick messy one I did up: Fast Ships!

Up to 8 uploads now, so I may have to delete some soon if I want to add new stuff. Unless I were to get more stars of course...

Got the game recently myself. I'll start uploading some courses shortly.

Image Brace yourselves.

Ice worlds are coming.

(9CBA-0000-004A-88EB)

I uploaded this before I noticed Falc had one already done, but whatever.

Also, this is my tenth upload, which means something's gonna get the axe soon. Will probably be Sinking Feeling since that one is pretty garbage, especially since it is sitting at only 1 star so nothing of value will be lost there.

Image The inspiration for this stage came after I found out what happens when you put wings on Boos.

(1396-0000-0052-AD28)

Nothing hard here, I promise. More of an experience really with light P-Switch puzzle solving. Anyone should be able to beat it in very little timey wimey.

And since I hit my limit, I did remove Sinking Feeling. Rubbish course so no big loss.

A small course on pipe running and boot spikes. Felt I haven't made a level in a while, so boom.

Image Haven't made a new stage in some time. Decided to do something that was more of an experience than anything, not really that hard or long.
