I saw Mad Max: Fury Road a few days ago.

The moment I saw a guy playing heavy metal on a double necked guitar with a flamethrower attached to the headstock, I knew this was gonna be an instant favorite. Holy !#%$, that movie was amazing.

Great movie.

Image Watched Zootopia, which for someone like me, is basically required watching. After viewing it, I daresay it may be required watching for everyone in America considering the themes of the film, especially in light of a certain hairpiece spewing terrible things to the general public.

As for personal thoughts? I enjoyed it well enough.

...Well enough that I ended up buying Disney Infinity figurines of the lead characters despite not having a copy of the game. (Not the first time either; got Guardians of the Galaxy figurines too; Maybe I should actually pick up 3.0 someday...)

Image So I recently discovered that Netflix in my region has gotten pretty cool lately with a lot of stellar films to watch. I decided to start off with Lilo & Stitch, since I have heard lots of people talk positive about it. And yeah, it actually is pretty great. Didn't expect the mood to pendulum between laughing and feeling depressed all the way, but it seemed to work.

...May have worked too well because...I ended up buying the Stitch figure for Disney Infinity now. This is turning into a problem...

Hey, he's cute and fluffy!

Oh man, yeah, Lilo & Stitch was great. I remember enjoying the follow-up movie/cartoon series a lot because all the various alien monsters were definitely the part that intrigued me the most, but the original is definitely the strongest part on its own.

My god, I love the original Lilo and Stitch. The TV show wasn't that bad either, certainly retained some of the charm of the movie. Stitch is just awesome with how he acts and what he does. Also agreeing with elby, the original is fantastic on its own.

He's so cute, and fluffy!

Image Continuing my "watching films from some time ago that I should've gotten to by now" trend comes Inside Out. Well, I can certainly see why it got Best Animated for 2015. Fantastic film with some really great meaning behind it all.

Yesterday I watched The Jungle Book. The new one.

It was good, but not something I'd want to show my children if I had any. It's much scarier than the cartoon movie.
