Image For Day 2, we got something for the original Resident Evil.

It's quite a thing to hear this piece. It really gets you going, but you know what? The area it plays in isn't even that dangerous with nothing but a few easy to avoid zombies (maybe a spider too, can't remember, been a while). Since you would have been introduced to things like the Hunter at this point, seeing such old enemies is almost refreshing, making the music seem almost misplaced.

Don't worry, this got "fixed" in re-releases. Now this is the stuff of nightmares...for music fans.

ahaha oh my god, that piece. Wow. Makes me glad I tracked down the Dualshock Director's Cut is something special for the wrong reasons, that soundtrack is just bad.

from what I recall, spiders were only in the remake's dungeon. meanwhile, to add to B...

Image Not much else to say other than I particularly like this theme playing as I quest.

Image I'm a big fan of fan remixes that try to sound more orchestral than most.

Image Oh? This song...

Image Isn't it great? It's like a march that gets you really pumped up for adventure! It's like,

Image "It's a wide world out there!! And you should never give up on your dreams!"

Image Oh yes! This is definitely a fitting theme for us, The Explorateurs!

Image Listening to more of the soundtrack from those kids' grand adventure, the Road to Primeval Forest is particularly nice. I particularly love it around the 1:48 mark.

You have no idea how happy I was to hear this being remastered. It actually sounds like the original now.

Image Chikachikachika significantly reduced, but replaced with a rather great guitar riff.

Let's continue the Hyrule Warriors music bandwagon with an oldie! These guitar riffs are something beautiful.

Best boss fight in the game (and now my personal favorite in any game), and you even get the best weapon afterwards.

Image Ordered the Fire Emblem amiibo I was missing for my collection. True, I was going to add them eventually, but this marks the first time I have purchased the figurines for something other than simple collection.

I already had Ike, so getting his class and skills was already set, but there were skills I wanted from Robin and Lucina as well.

But Marth, I got for a slightly different reason...

I bought Marth...so I could hear this in game:

EDIT: Turns out I was completely wrong about how amiibo function in Fates. Getting the classes requires purchasing the DLC maps, not the amiibo. They just give you accessories and can become playable units.

Image Dang, who would've thought it'd be Magikarp of all Pokémon that would get this awesome track?

This game's soundtrack blew me away, it was outstanding! This one stuck to me in particular. Course, rest of Life is Strange is just as great too.

Image Can't believe I went this long without posting an Evoland II song. Game is certainly better than the first, though its ending made me kinda...yeah. Though the more I thought about it, the more I warmed up to it, since it was very much in the spirit of the game itself.

Which is...basically, a celebration of video games as a whole. That goes right down to the music. The music for the Ghost Forest makes me just want to pull out a whip and destroy some candles.
