Just throwing suggestions out there, we could probably do something like an UltioDuo tournament in TF2. It wouldn't require anymore than two people on a team.

I'd be fine with really anything in my Steam account if my computer can run it, and I'd be willing to buy and play Worms if we can agree on a version.

As far as Steam games go, TF2 is the only one I've seen enough of to be familiar with, so I guess I'd go with that. I have to warn y'all, though, my mouse sometimes spazzes out and goes to one end of the screen at the slightest movement, so if my character suddenly starts spinning like crazy, you'll know why.

Divekick seems pretty good too, so yeah.

My other choices are:

Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Pokemon Battle Revolution

...That's all.

you know if you guys are so adamant about playing Pokemon. Just use a Battle Simulator.

All the meta nonsense you need without all that grinding !#%$ that turns everyone I know and myself off said meta nonsense.

Honestly, of all the things mentioned from the list, Dota 2 (or any MOBA really) or TF2 would probably be the better options considering they're sure to be available for everyone. Free to play and all.

The Pokemon Battle Sims are probably decent options, too. However, a game where people can spectate would be most appropriate.

Also, Transformed would be fun for free-for-all stuff.

I could totally see a grand time with Awesomenauts, too. I'd go Awesomenauts, personally, since it's a much easier game to jump into.

And if we wanted to go down a non-TF2 FPS route, I think Counter Strike: GO could work well there. Cheap-ish, and I think it's apparently pretty customizable. (got a learning curve, too, though, but !#%$ Dota 2's on this list so I don't think curves are a huge concern)

Spoiler: click to show
Too bad Tribes: Ascend didn't pan out so well. That would be a fun shooting possibility.

Actually, !#%$ it, let's just do an 8-man Torchlight 2 run. Everyone wins, we realize friendship's more important

Image Actually, that gives me another idea... We definitely need to do some sort of co-op stuff too.

Maybe even with a little video recording thanks to Fraps...

(And for those wondering where my latest videos are, I'm actually holding off until I get a new PC. The videos kept freezing/skipping too much. I don't think everything in this rig is enough to handle recording and/or streaming).

That's a good idea, actually, my copy's been collecting dust for some time now.

Quake Live is a possibility, though someone would have to shell out $10 or so if you wanted to be able to host servers...

I'd be up for Torchlight. I don't own it, but I'd be up for it.

Image Quite a lot of Torchlight II support now...so I decided to change the thread name as that's a game that isn't about tournaments at all.

But I'm totally fine with that if we can get enough together and have a schedule set for us to get together (maybe even record some of it if you'd allow). I actually still need to beat the game myself.

And since I'm so open to co-op now, I figured I throw in Starbound as well, 'specially since the final character wipe should be very soon.

I'd be okay with recording. But that said we'd have to start from scratch since I lost the data on my end if that's alright.

Image I was under the impression we'd have to restart regardless, anyway. No fun doing end game content, or middle game content, or a mixture where some are way ahead and some are lagging behind.

Image That's what I was thinking we change this up to. Just pick a day each week, fire up a game for a few others, get us all on Skype/Ventrillo/Whatever and just have a grand ole time, with footage perhaps displayed afterwards on my YouTube channel, assuming everyone is alright with that.

I'm good for basically any weekday. Friday's a little iffy. Wednesdays might also be iffy but I'm not too sure yet.

Image I have to confess that my own scheduling is incredibly weird myself so it may not be a constant "every Xday we game" type thing on my part. It may need to be a different day every week.

I was reluctant to say anything further since my computer was pretty thoroughly borked, but now it's not! So I can totally do all the things forever, including Torchlight II, already own it and everything.

Image Way things are sounding, sounds like Torchlight II may be the road to take. Works for me!

Of course, the max player limit for Torchlight II might hold some people back unless someone's willing to sit out.

Aside from that, all we need is a day we can get together and we should be all set.

What's the max player limit?

So, let's see. There's...

1. Me
2. The Great B Man
3. Elby
4. Super Penguin M
5. Azure
6. Falcon6
7. Raxy
8. DoM (maybe? I don't recall him saying he has the game/would be up for it.)

I guess I'll sit out, seeing that I don't have the game and all.

We don't have to play torchlight 2 at first. We should start with something that could include everyone, like Worms.

Image Worms: Reloaded is 1-4, dear.

Even Worms: Armageddon, the one I suggested, only supports a max of 6.

Though on the other hand, it would let me do a tournament bracket instead so...

It's 1-4 (or 6. I prefer Worms: Armageddon, myself) but it'd be easier to do rotation than with torchlight.
