It's been brought to my attention that this comic hasn't updated in one year, today.

This is great work guys, let's keep it going.

I mean, come on now. This comic, in just about every way, is horrible. The jokes are never funny, the slapstick is garbage, and let's be frank here, whatever story it tried to have failed miserably. When it switched to a drawn style, it only made it's problems more apparent, since the comic lost most of photoshop tricks that gave it a few points. Also, while I'm talking about terrible things:

falcon; x3; pelord; geekay; These guys? Shoddy recolors that mark the comic as horrible. And don't get me started on the names for this stuff. Falcon, as a name for a Hedgehog? As odd as the Sonic fandom can get, let's be serious. And the colors too! Oh my god, an orange Sonic with a purple stripe on his head! Stop the presses and call Sega, we've got a brand new OC that they'll love!

Hell, I made better Sonic sprite edits when I was 7. If you're going to make a comic and really host it, at least try and put some effort into your main characters. Nobody wants to read 350 pages of The Slapstick Adventures of Not-Sonic and Blue-Tails-With-A-Mysterious-Name.

What's sad is that I'm not even trying to troll you all here.

The comic is so bad, it trolls itself for me.

This would of been been better if any of us actually cared about the comic.

Indeed they are. And indeed it is. And indeed you're right.

...

What? You don't think I know the horrible value of my own comic? It's about 9 out of 10 on the horrible bar, and the only reason it's not 10 is because I do adequate talk bubbles.

Of course, I could always get better at the talk bubbles. See, I have this thing where I try to move the lines in the exact placement of their mouths, but their mouths are so horribly drawn that I can't always get it right. I'm sure some of them seem to be talking out of their nose.

Oh, and my text. I freakin' hate my text. It sucks horribly. Just like everything else in the comic. As it has been noted.

I'm not sure you know how things work on the internet, but when a troll comes to a small forum, they usually come in swarms.

Also, I do take his opinion at face value. The comic sucks. Hard. We know this. This isn't Sonichu.

As has been noted before, I know how bad my comic is. The only reason why I don't nuke it out of orbit right now is because some people actually do like to look back in the archives once or twice. [I, however, do not, but that's besides the point] So it's a little hard to say "Hey, deleting comic, brb" and it's gone in a flash. And yes, I would love to do it. Incredibly. But again, people still want to see the archive for some incredibly unknown reason.

His critique is noted, though, just like every other critique of the comic. I do want to start a new comic someday with better everything and NO goddamn Sonic recolors.

And yes, I do regret the Sonic recolor thing. I regret it probably every single day.

I also regret switching to drawn so quickly, as well. But that's all in the past, so whatever. The point is, the comic is the past. It's still up on the front, but it's the past. It deserves to stay in the past. It deserves to see the Doc shot before he can properly activate the time DeLorean and send him back into the future. It deserves to be eaten by some prehistoric dinosaur that will probably have incredible stomach problems later on. It deserves a swift beating down by George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Gandhi, the Fonz, and maybe be smashed by that moon from Majora's Mask.

If that is the case, would it not be possible to offer downloads of the archived comic? I would imagine it could all fit into 2 or 3 .rar files.

I'm probably going to do what VG Cats did and put the old comics in an archive...an archive probably very well hidden. As you said, the Photoshop effects were nice for its time and it's nice for me to look back and see it.

As in, it lets me see how horrible I was as opposed to hopefully a lot better later on. But I digress.

You can't see it right now Falc, but I am applauding you. You managed to reply to an incredibly discouraging and degrading post and take it with dignity. What might have made you weaker has actually made you stonger. You have gained even more of my respect.

And dear Mr. Blake, I rather enjoy much of the humor. Moreso the writing than the slapstick. I believe it to merely not be to your tastes. Though most everything else you say is reasonably legitimate, if rather blunt.

Granted, this is hardly a good first impression. Joining a forum and instantly complaining about the host comic, but I have a feeling you weren't looking to soften your opinion just to get people to like you.

And who knows, maybe you'll prove a better guy in the end.

Falcon has now become one of the few people I know to turn tables on a critic. Congrats! :D

MK, I basically said I agreed with everything he said. That doesn't exactly "turn tables" on a critic. It's more like accepting the criticism, no matter how harsh.

So applauding me is really unnecessary.

Yeah but you didn't get all worked up about it and take the bait. You took it like a man.

Not accepting the applause is to deny your own manliness.

I should hope you know duch a thing would be foolish and I'll advised. MSTARE;
