There are four posts describing your comic as trippy.

I think you're going to be hearing that word a lot.

This font probably sucks but it's better than not trying. I'll fine tune it as I go.

I like the font. It looks better smaller, though.

I updated, but I'm sure anyone who was going to look at it already saw it WHILE I was updating. (that is not a very good idea!!)

http://thedreamspectrum.wordpress.com/2 ... 2/page-37/

anyway, this update was somewhat of an experiment for me, and I learned that I hate wordpress.

Also things did in fact happen in chapter 1, you just don't know it yet. It'll all make some sense later on.

I blame mecha for everything. He made a fanfiction page ON MY OWN BLOG.

Oh yeah I updated. Almost on time too! Wow!

As always I'm open to suggestions and comments.

Because of Mecha, I'm only ever going to remember the main character's name as dreamspectrum.

Also, I really like the style of the chat program thing. The color scheme for both that and the browser are both very distinct.

The design scheme was inspired by an old theme I used on Messenger Plus years ago, however the colors were a personal choice to reflect the character's interest. I'd like to think that whatever programs and OSes they use in the comic would be very flexible in design to fit the personal needs of the user.

They're definitely not on Windows 8.

HI! I think your comic is SEGUOI~ And I really like your art style! But, most of all, I like your WRITER! So incredible! Even his fan fiction is a delight to read!

Mecha isn't my writer, he's just that guy who blackmails me and tells me everything I do sucks.

Also it's Sunday somewhere in the world.

Her chin looks odd in that first panel, but that second panel is really great looking.

Also Count Frosty seems pretty creepy.

He's right, I had issues with that kind of perspective. It was supposed to look like she was looking from a straight on view that was ever so slightly tilted upward and to her left. You should have see her nose before mecha told me that it was broken.

Just caught up.

Skiff is the best character.

And the recent Kat drawings have been lovely.

Hnnnnngh, I kind of forgot this existed until Rax reminded me in MSN just a bit ago, and, having caught up again, I agree with all those things he said 5,000% forever, and I swear I won't forget again, I hope.

mk, If you're still checking out the thread, I saw on your tumblr that you were inspired by Nights, and I was wondering if you have read The Sandman.

Thanks guys. I appreciate any comments. :)

I absolutely adore NiGHTS, but I have never heard of The Sandman before. I wouldn't mind knowing more about it though.

It's a comic by Neil Gaiman, its won awards and !#%$.

I really don't know much about Nights, so the only similarity between these two things is probably that they're about dreamworlds.

The Sandman is about Dream of the Endless though it starts off pretty dark (being made at the end of the Dark Age of comics) after the first couple volumes it gets better. Dream is the personification of dreams, and his siblings are other personifications. He's held prisoner for 70 years and comes back to find that a lot has changed. Then, things happen. A key is owned. Monsters are set free. Dream and his sister look for their brother.

Mostly, stories are told.

It's pretty cool if you like dream worlds and imagery and such. Its also pretty cool if you like mythology as it weaves it own strewn with countless others.

That legitimately sounds interesting and I'll have to check it out sometime. Thanks for the heads up.

Oddly enough, there are similar elements planned for my comic as well, but from the sound of it, it's pretty different from what I think I'll have going.

Thank you. I like to apply all sorts of different shading styles in my comic. :)
