In the same vein, I read all of Wonder Momo and enjoyed it. It seems like it could actually be a real anime series. I'd even know where to divide it into episodes.

The only thing that bothers me is how rushed the ending was. I feel like it could have gone on much longer. I wouldn't be surprised if around the last few comics, the creators knew the site was shutting down, so they wrapped everything up as much as they could.

...Oh! And we never found out how Aki survived and returned from the Waru planet!

EDIT: So, apparently, there is an anime out there based on this comic, produced by Bandai Namco itself. I've gone and watched all five episodes of it.

It doesn't do the comic justice.

Image 6 years have come and gone and now we've come to the end of one of my favourite webcomics. It's bittersweet, really. One the one hand, naturally, I'm sad to see it go since it was constantly good and felt like it could keep going, but on the other hand, I am glad Matthew ended on his own terms and tied things up neatly, as opposed to other series that either go on for too long saying "we're not dead" or just end abruptly (kinda like this one *shot*).

Nevertheless, a bi-weekly ritual of mine isn't going to be a thing anymore. I do, however, wish Matthew the best in whatever the future may bring to him. Thanks for all the fun times!

Brawl in the Family is officially the Calvin and Hobbes of webcomics.

Truth be told I only followed it for a bit, when I still cared about webcomics, but I still have fond memories.

farewell sweet pr-WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
